Bugtraq

Bugtraq is a full disclosure mailing list dedicated to issues about computer security. On topic discussions are new discussions about vulnerabilities, methods of exploitation, and how to fix them. It is a high volume mailinglist, and allmost all new vulnerabilities are discussed there.

Bugtraq was created on Friday the 5th of November, 1993 by Scott Chasin. In the beginning, the mailinglist was not moderated, that however happened after the signal-to-noise ratio became unacceptable bad. It was moderated on the 5th of June, 1995.

The mailinglist was moderated by [Elias Levy]? a.k.a Aleph One from the 14th of May 1996, until he recently stepped down.
