Balochistan (or
Baluchistan) is a region of
south Asia, presently split between
Iran,
Pakistan and
Afghanistan. It is inhabited by numerous Baloch (or Baluch, Balouch) tribes who speak the [Balochi language]
? (Baluchi, Balouchi).
The southern part of Balochistan is known as Makran.
