There are both obviously bad arguments for the existence of God and traditionally respectable arguments for the existence of God. The quality of an argument can be objectively judged by its ability to withstand logical scrutiny.
Arguments for the existence of God that have been made over the years include:

* argument from common consent
* argument from morality
