Worms computer games/Acronyms

These acronyms and shorthand terms are common place in the Internet play modes of Worms : Armageddon and Worms World Party. In addition, there are several other acronyms that are in common use all over the Internet, and they are not listed here.

Abl All but last (you are not allowed to attack the person in last place)
Afr Attack from rope
Atm Attack the misser. Same as ftm
Bd Bad drop
Bl Bad luck
Bng Bazookas and Grenades
Br Battle race
Cba Crate before attack
Chute Parachute
Clan A group of wormers joining together for a common cause
Cow Breaking the rules, or someone who does so. For instance, in bng, firing a str8 zook is a cow
Cr8 Crate, this includes health, weapon, and utility crates
Ctr Capture the flag
Dig Use the blowtorch or the drill
Ds Darksiding, which is a special defensive form of play.
Dwr Drop wpn and run (a common but useful tactic in ropers)
Ffa Free for all (attack whoever you like)
Fish In a fort game, to enter the enemies fort and take a cr8
Ftm Fsck the misser (host announces who to attack, this is usually the person who last missed the target)
Fy Fuck you
Gg Good game (it is polite to say this whenever the game ends, or if a player loses all their worms fairly)
Gl Good luck (it is polite to say this whenever the game starts)
Gnr Guns and Roses
Hf Have fun
Hhg Holy Hand Grenade
K Ok
Ktc Kill the Cow! If a host calls this on a player, forget all the other rules till the cow has been completely slaughtered!
Leader You are not allowed to attack anyone except the person in first place
Level The same as a map
Map The level you are playing on. WA can load these from its User/SavedLevels? folder
N1 Nice one
Nade Grenade
Nd Nice drop
Newb Someone who is new to the game, and therefore sucks at it
Nr Nice run or Nice roping
Ns Nice shot
Nt Nice try
Port Teleport
Prac Practice, another name for warmer
Proper Pro Roper, a roper for very experienced ropers
Proropa Pro Roper, a roper for very experienced ropers
Rope Ninja rope
Rr Rope race
Scheme A collection of information about a particular game mode. WA can load these from its User/Schemes? folder
Shoppa Shopper
Stfu Shut the fuck up
Str8 Straight
T17 Team17?, the awesome guys who made the Worms series
W:A Worms Armageddon
W2 Worms 2
Wa Worms Armageddon
Wag Worms Armageddon
Wd Water drop, refers to a scheme option in which weapons fall through the bottom border, but worms do not
Wgn Worms Armageddon
Wormer A person who plays Worms, but is not a newb
Wpn Weapon
Wwp World Worms Party
X Stands for a blank space. Used most often in game and player names, since these do not allow spaces, underscores, or dashes
Zook Bazooka
Zooka Bazooka
