Wind power is not the largest source of renewable electricity. Hydropower is. Geothermal may also be a larger source. (In America, hydro is 100x larger than wind and geothermal 10x greater.) In 1995 wind power worldwide produced 5 gW of electricity while geothermal produced 5.8 gW according to the US Dept. of Energy.
