The USS Cole (DDG 67) is a guided missile destroyer of the US Navy named for Marine Sergeant Darrell S. Cole, a machine gunner killed in action on Iwo Jima on February 19, 1945. She is an Arleigh Burke-class "Aegis" destroyer, part of the Atlantic fleet, and is homeported in [Pascagoula, Mississippi]?. She was built by [Ingalls Shipbuilding]? and delivered to the Navy on March 11, 1996.

On October 12, 2000, she was attacked from a small inflatable boat by suicide bombers.
