Usedom Peninsula in
Pomerania is a peninsula north of the mouth of the
Oderriver ,where it flows into the bay called Grosse Haff. The Usedom peninsula ist nearly all the way connected to the
Wollin Peninsula. A very narrow straight leads the water from the
Oder river through the Grosse Haff bay and into Pomeranian bay, which is part of the
Baltic Sea. The western part of the Grosse Haff , Greater Haff bay is called Kleine Haff , small Haff bay.
