Sunlight is the total
spectrum of
electromagnetic radiation given off by the
sun (the star
Sol). Alternatively it is the spectrum of
light, or solar radiation as filtered through the
atmosphere of
earth, though this varies at different places and at different times due to
climatic or other conditions. (see the
Ozone hole).
