Seven Sisters

Following the break up by the US Government of Standard Oil, seven new companies were created, now referred to as the seven sisters, these were:

Standard American Oil of New Jersey to become Exxon

Royal Dutch Shell Anglo-Dutch [Royal Dutch Shell]?

British Anglo-Persian Oil Company to become [British Petroleum]?

Standard America Oil of New York to become Mobil

Texaco? America

Standard America Oil of California to become Chevron?

[Gulf Oil]?
