I want to begin by looking first at two bad arguments for the existence of God. I won't take too long on them. But I want at least to explain them and say why I, and many other philosophers, think these two arguments are so obviously bad.

Let's look next at another bad argument. Now this one isn't so obviously bad. In fact, I think that some of you probably find it plausible, and you may resent me, somewhat at least, for saying it's an obviously bad argument. But I fully intend to explain to you why I think this argument is indeed no good.
