John Brunner (1934-1995). British author of
science fiction novels and stories.
Brunner's most famous work is 1975's The Shockwave Rider, in which he coined the term "worm", used to describe Computer viruses. His 1968 novel Stand on Zanzibar won the 1969 Hugo Award for best science fiction novel.
