IRA

IRA is an acronym with various meanings.

There are several terrorist (or paramilitary) groups which claim the title 'Irish Republican Army', and advocate a unitary Irish state with no ties to the United Kingdom.

• The 'Official' IRA - the original group, founded in the early 20th century.
• The Provisional IRA.
• The 'Real' IRA.
• The Continuity IRA.
