Please submit only quotations by historical figures and from works of art.
Therefore there should also be a page for celebrity quotations.
Perhaps later the page should divert into other categories.
I'd like to propose some rules that would make this page consistant :
- mark boundaries of entries with ----
- give
- the quotation itself - "Veni, vidi, vici"
- the author of quotation or to whom it is ascribed - Julius Caesar
- who, when and where reported it - Plutarch in "Life of Julius Caesar"
- context - Julius Caesar said the words in his letter to his friend Amatius reporting his quick victory over the king of Pont
