Endless

The Endless are seven brothers and sisters, anthropomorphic representations of aspects of human life, appearing in the comic Sandman by [Neil Gaiman]?. They are, in order of age:

• /Destiny?, male, who leaves no footprints and casts no shadow,
• /Death?, a perky girl who does her job well,
• /Dream?, a dark and gloomy Prince of Dreams ond Nightmares,
• /Destruction?, who left because he wasn't needed
• /Desire?, neither male nor frmale, always found irresistible,
• /Despair?, a woman who's partial to rats and looks through the backs of mirrors,
• /Delirium?, who replaced the girl called /Delight?.

They form a dysfunctional family, rivalry and scheming by the younger siblings interrupting the work of the older ones. Killing a member of the family, or the child of one, is a severely punished offence.
