CORAL or Computing Online Realtime Algorithmic Language was developed at the Royal Radar Establishment RRE?, Malvern?, UK. It was used to program both Ferranti and GEC computers between 1971 and ? Being very similar to Algol but having been developed six years later it embodied some features of Algol 68. All variables required to be Typed? and Defined? before use.
