University of Cambridge/Christs College

Christs College at the University of Cambridge was re-founded in 1505 by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII. Before its re-foundation it was known as God's House, and it has been on its present site in central Cambridge since 1446. Christ's has (2001) about 390 undergraduate and 100 graduate students.
