Ten Key Values were drafted by the
U.S. Green Party in 1984. They form the philosophical basis for the platforms of the
Green Party in the
United States and
Canada.
There are many different explanations of what these terms mean, but the terms themselves are constant:

- Personal and Global Responsibility
- Respect for Diversity
- Grassroots Democracy
- Ecological Wisdom
