Taoiseach

"Taoiseach" (pronounced "tee-shach") is the title of Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland. Curently (2001) it is [Bertie Ahern]? of the Fianna Fail party.

Here is a list of all Irish heads of governments since independence. Before 1937 the title was "[President of the Executive Council]?", since 1932 it has been "Taoiseach".
