Suebians

 The Suebi SVEBI Suevi -Swabian- Schwaben originate at the Baltic Sea and south thereof.

2000 years ago the Baltic Sea or Easter Sea was recorded by Tacitus as Mare Suebicum . All eastern Germanic people of many tribes were collectively called Suebi . Due to onslaughts of Romans, Huns, Avars, Magyars, Slavs, Vikings the Suebi were pushed from Eastern Germania to the west.

 Later they were called Schwaben .
