A character in the BBC sketch show "
The Fast Show".
Played by
Paul Whitehouse, he is a strange looking old man, with a puffy nose from drinking too much, seated in an old-fashioned room telling un-intelligible stories about his past exploits.
Some of the speech is understandable, but most is mumbled, with occasional strange noises and hand signals.
He ends his monologues with "..of course I was very, very drunk", or variation thereof.
