Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis is the revelation of unconscious relations, that a person might not be aware of, in a systematic way through an associative process.

It has been introduced by Sigmund Freud in the 1890's, who was rather interested in the revelation of unconscious sexual perversions, and has been improved since then quite a lot.
