Nitrogen narcosis

The effect nitrogen poses on a (scuba)diver when diving below aprox. 30 meters. The symptoms and feeling is much like alcohol, thus the humorous "Martini's law: Its like one martini per 10 meters below 20 meters".

The state can be very dangerous due to the lack of proper judgement while diving.
