The
Netherlands Antilles is a country in the Caribbean
? Sea, consisting of the islands Curacao
?, Bonaire
?, [Sint Maarten]
?, [Sint Eustatius]
? and Saba
?. The first two lie north of
Venezuela, the others east of the
Virgin Islands. It is a member of the
Kingdom of the Netherlands.
In 1986 Aruba decided to leave the Netherlands Antilles and to become an independent member of the Kingdom.
