Marbod

Marbod or Maroboduus ,died in 37 AD . He was king of the Marcomanni , who organized a confederation of several Germanic tribes. About 9 BC Marbod and his people had to escape the threat of Roman Empire domination . The Marcomanni founded a kingdom in Bohemia , and formed a confederation with neighboring German tribes in Silesia Schlesien and Saxony
