Lomography is a new approach to analogue photography. The Lomo was a camera produced in St Petersburg
Russia. Using slow 100 ASA film and a unique lens and exposure method, the lomo camera produces deep vibrant colours and often unpredictable results.
These are the 10 rules of Lomography:
- Take your LOMO with you wherever you go
- Use it all the time, at any time - day & night
- Lomography does not interfere with your life, it's a part of it
- Get as close as possible to the objects of your lomographic desire
- Don't think (William Firebrace)
- You don't have to know what's going to be captured on your film beforehand
- You don't have to know what's on the film afterwards either
