Linköping University was founded in 1969 in the city of Linköping in Sweden.
Linköping University has three faculties. They are the [/philosophical faculty]?, the medical faculty called Hälsouniversitetet? and the technical faculty called [Tekniska Högskolan]?. Many of the twenty departments teach students from more than one faculty. A number of [knowledge centres]? are also associated with the university.
