The city of Kolberg , earlier Colberg is in
Pomerania , north east of
Stettin /
Sczezcin. In 1120 duke Casimir of Poland tried to conquer Pomerania, but was repelled . There were earlier attempts of dukes or kings of Poland to conquer lands to the north of them, which did not succeed.
