Jerome David Kern

Jerome David Kern (1885 - 1945)

American Composer.

Born in New York. Composed around 700 songs and 100 complete scores for shows and films in a career lasting from 1902 until his death. He wrote the musical 'Showboat' in 1927 and won Oscars for "The Way You Look Tonight" (1936) and "The Last Time I Saw Paris" (1941).
