Kephir

Kephir (alternately kefir, kewra, talai, mudu kekiya) is a fermented milk drink originating in Russia (is this true? can we be more precise?).

It is prepared by the action of a fungus on cow's or camel's milk.

The Russian word kephir also means "yoghurt".
