He died at age 41 in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack in the destruction of the World Trade Center.
He was working at Cantor Fitzgerald on the 105th floor of One World Trade Center. His memorial service was held in Bay Shore on September 20.
He was survived by his wife, Carrie Gallagher, 37, also from Bay Shore. They married in February, 2001. Mrs. Gallagher returned to her job as a legal headhunter for the Peak Organization on September 25. She was laid off three days later.
