A form of racing where trailerable speed boats, powered by [water jet propulsion]? rather than conventional propellors, race around shallow, artificial watercourses characterised by many tight turns. The racing format is usually a sequence of time trials.

Invented in New Zealand, this form of boat racing is becoming more popular in Australia, and attracts large crowds to events.
