Someone should mention the Real, the Symbolic and the Imaginary; and the graph of desire (maybe include a picture of it?). Maybe also some mention of the Foreclosure of the Father, the Maternal Phallus, Presence and Absence, etc. To be honest, I've never read Lacan, only second hand accounts of his work, and I never really understood those accounts either. But his work sure sounds cool :) --
