An ISBN is assigned to each variation of a document (except reprints), and consists of four parts, optionally separated by hyphens: the language or country of origin, the publisher, the item number, and a [check digit]?. (The check digit is modulo 11, with "10" represented by the character "X".)
UseModWiki recognizes inline ISBN's; for example: "ISBN 0123456789" becomes ISBN 0123456789 (amazon.com, search).
