Frederick I or Friedrich I , Burggrave of Nuremberg was born in 1371 and acceded in 1415 .He died in 1440. In 1415 Frederick I Hohenzollern was granted the office of Elector of Brandenburg by the Holy Roman Empire .

Frederick I' had a son named Albert Archilles (Albrecht Archilles).

Albert's son was Frederick V of Ansbach. Frederick V's son was Albert of Prussia (Albrecht of Brandenburg, Ansbach, Prussia), who in 1525 took over the government of Prussia from the Teutonic Knights.
