Disjunction

A disjunction is an "or statement." 'Either P or Q' is a disjunction; 'P' and 'Q' are each called the statement's disjuncts. 'John skis or Sally swims' is another disjunction; 'John skis' is one disjunct, and 'Sally swims' is another.
