Diffusion in science is the net flow of particles normally from areas of high concentration to areas of low concentration due to normal thermal agitation.

When the particles diffuse in water, this is called Brownian motion.

Examples

Diffusion can be seen as dye spreads out when dissolved in water. It is also responsible for [passive transport]? through the cell membranes. The diffusion of water is called osmosis.
