A continuous game is a game without pauses, turns or other stopping points, also known as real time.

Most video games are now in real time, but it wasn't that long ago that any game more complex than Pac Man would have been turn based.

Examples of some [realtime strategy game]?s are [Command and Conquer]?, [Red Alert]?, StarCraft, and [Age of Empires]?.

Compare [turn-based game]?.
