Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting

A biennial meeting of heads of government of nations in The Commonwealth. As the cultural and economic links between the Commonwealth countries continue to decline, the meeting's agenda has become more and more relaxed and its relevance questioned.

A meeting was scheduled for October 2001, but with the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack it was rescheduled to March 2002, mainly because leaders felt they needed to be at home to respond to any further international developments.
