An hour long, ambient comedy programme produced by Chris Morris aired on BBC/Radio 1 in the early hours of the morning.

The programme gained cult status due to its unique mix of surreal monologue, music, synthesised voices, heavily edited broadcasts and recurring sketches.

Chris Morris has always played on the limits of what is considered acceptable by society, with his infamous 'Prayer to Diana' sketch - where the Archbishop? of Canterbury's speech at [Diana Spencer]?'s funeral had been edited to convey unsuitable sentiments to the royal family - leading to the last episode of the first series being removed, and blended into the first episode. Theories abound regarding who ordered this - did a nervous BBC employee being to recieve complaints (before the sketch had ended), or was this a stunt engineered by Chris Morris himself to gain more notoriety?
