[Home]Bryce Canyon

One of several important canyons in the U.S. Southwest (others including Zion and the Grand Canyon), Bryce is distinctive due to its unique geological structures, called Hoodoos?, formed from wind, water, and ice erosion on the sandstone landscape. Bryce is at a much higher elevation than Zion and Grand, and thus has a very different ecology and climate, and therefore offers an enjoyable contrast for visitors to the region.

Bryce Canyon was *not* named after BryceHarrington (or vice versa for that matter,) but they have seen each other on multiple occasions.
