Arctic fox

The arctic fox is a small fox that lives in the cold Arctic? regions of the Northern Hemisphere. The population of foxes fluctuates along with the population of lemmings.

The arctic fox is a member of the Canidae family, species Alopex lagopus. Arctic foxes are dull brown, paler underneath, in the summer. In the winter, most foxes turn white all over. Some foxes turn bluish gray.
