Central tendancy is the term statisticians use for any StatistiC that you could quote as representative of an entire DataSeT.
The most commonly used measures of central tendancy are the
- MeaN, the sum of all data divided by the number of DataSeT.
- MediaN, the value that separates the highest half from the lowest half of the DataSeT.
- MoDe, the most common value in the DataSeT.
