Lindy Hop developed in the Savoy ballroom in Harlem.

The two major styles of Lindy danced today are SavoyStyleLindyHop? and HollywoodStyleLindyHop?.

The basic step is called the Lindy Circle. It takes 8 counts to complete, and involves the dancers making a complete circle around each other.
