I question the wisdom of moving this article from "the recorder." Wasn't that a better name than "recorder flute"? Yes, it's imperfect--but, I mean, recorders are never called "recorder flutes," or I've never heard them called that! --LMS

That's how it was listed in Music basic topics, so perhaps I just propagated
another error. However, "The_Recorder" seems quite stilted to me (and I assume we don't want to start a trend of people adding "The_" on the front of anything
that isn't a proper name), and "Recorder"
seems too ambiguous. I won't object to anyone coming up with a better one though. ---Alan Millar

:What if we had a "Musical instruments" page (do we?) I'm at work so can only sneak looks here and there... If we did(do) we could have Musical Instruments/Recorder? and it would be a bit more to the point. I agree that recorder flute sounds funny. JHK
