Revision 22 . . August 17, 2001 10:36 pm by Drj [suggestion for specially tagging jump pages]

Difference (from prior major revision) (no other diffs)

Changed: 61,62c61
I have a suggestion for jump pages: jump pages should be tagged especially (say #JUMP) at the beginning. The server software when it sees a reference to a jump page marks the reference somehow _in the page that is making the reference_. So like we see ? after a link to an article that hasn't been written yet, we could see ! (or something else, whatever) after a link to a jump page. Like ? is a clue to the reader that there is a page to be written, ! would be a clue that there is a link to be disambiguated. --drj

Now we're waiting for them to fix the problem that will arise when we switch to the new system which does not distinguish between pages capitalized like this and [like This]?, which the present software does distinguish. That's why we haven't uploaded the lastest version of UseModWiki. --LMS
