Do you know who coined "educational perennialism"? :Perennialists believe that one should teach the things of everlasting importance to all people everywhere. ... Therefore, one should teach principles, not facts. The above strikes me as a pretty obvious nonsequitur. (There are plenty of facts that everybody should know.)
