Eldest son of King Henry VII of England. Was named after the hero of Arthurian legend as a sign of his father's great hopes for a rebirth of English greatness. Arthur died before he could mount the throne, however, and his brother Henry became the next King.

Arthur was buried in the cathedral in [Worcester, England]?; the memorial to him, `Prince Arthur's Chantry', was erected in the cathedral in 1504.
