Undead

Undead is a collective name for all types of corporeal and non-corporeal entities believed to once have been alive but is still roaming the world of the living. Undead of different varieties features in most cultures on earth. Examples of undead are for example:

Corporeal:

• Zombies -- Of the Voodoo religion
• Draugrs -- Of the Norse
• Vampires -- Of various cultures
• Myling?s -- Of nordic folklore

Non-corporeal

• Ghosts -- Featuring in many cultures
• [Jack o Lantern]?s -- From European middle ages

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley's novel Frankenstein, or Prometheus Unbound introduced another variant on the dead that walk again, the dead brought back to 'life' by science.

Any number of films have been made concerning the undead.
