Terence Hill was born as Mario Girotti on 1939 in Venice to a German mother and lived in Dresden,

He took his name from a Roman scholar Terenzio and his wife's surname (Lori Hill). After playing in various action and adventure films together with his long time partner
Bud Spencer, he continued his career as a film producer.
