Tablespoon

Name of several units of measuring volume used in cooking.

1 U.S. tablespoon = 1/2 U.S. fl. oz.

The traditional British tablespoon was never standardised, and could vary from 0.5 to 5/8 imperial fl. oz.

1 metric tablespoon = 15 ml (in Canada, New Zealand, UK)

1 metric tablespoon = 20 ml (in Australia)
